There seem to be a lot of questions, uncertainty, and misinformation surrounding radar detectors and LIDAR Detectors / Jammers. As much as we wish that they were, radar detectors and LIDAR Detectors and jammers are not a license to speed or to drive recklessly. They are merely […]

Blinder bills them as the ‘world’s smallest laser jammer heads’. They’re purported to be nearly half the size of normal Laser Interceptor G8. So, how big are the Blinder HP-905 Compact’s laser jammer heads, really?
The sensor / head dimensions are:
- 51mm (W) x 34mm (D) x 12.7mm (H)
- 2in (W) x 1.35in(D) x .5in(H)
That’s pretty small – just a little bit bigger than the size of a standard matchbox. We’ve actually recommended that prospective laser jammer buyers with size constraints, or motorcycle owners, look at the Blinder HP-905 Compact first.
The Blinder HP-905 Compact Dual System retails for $539.00, while the Blinder HP-905 Compact Quad System goes for $809.00.

Great news is coming for current and future Laser Interceptor users – after nearly a year of waiting, LI appears to be on the cusp of releasing version 8.17, which will purportedly address issues with jamming the Laser Ally. The Laser Ally, also known as […]

Laser jammer testing happens infrequently. It takes time to get together a group of testers and it takes time and money to provide multiple jamming systems. Most of all, it takes a lot of money to supply a range of laser/LIDAR guns for testing. Laser guns cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars (older systems) to a few thousand dollars (current models / brand new models).
Some of you may remember Guys of LIDAR, who were the premier laser / radar testing group from about 2008-2009. There was a void for some time, but the East Coast Countermeasures Testing Group (ECCTG) has since taken up the torch. The ECCTG members test with integrity and fairness in an industry where lack of a bias is hard to find.
LaserJammer.net thanks the ECCTG for their important efforts and for the ability to link to their results. LaserJammer.net is not affiliated with ECCTG; links are provided directly to the ECCTG testing results pages.

The laser jammer market is constantly being updated with new products, new software, and new hardware. LaserJammer.net is dedicated to providing the best reviews and content for the latest laser and LIDAR jamming systems. Though it should be easy for laser jammer buyers to tell truth from deception and the best from the worst, misinformation is rife among sites with ulterior motives and misaligned financial incentives.
Many out of date and out of production laser jammers are still sold to unwitting buyers who are none the wiser until they’re pulled over. Below are the three brands producing up-to-date and working laser jammers. All laser jammer brands and products are listed alphabetically.

LaserJammer.net also provides limited information about out of production and out of date laser jammers. These may be previous versions from manufacturers like Blinder, or current versions from manufacturers that are not updating their equipment, like Escort.
With new laser guns and new gun software being released frequently, a laser jammer that can only jam some police laser / LIDAR guns is no good to the buyer.

While not the oldest laser jammer brand around, Laser Interceptor is definitely one of the most respected and well-reviewed laser jammer brands on the market. After its Generation 7 jammer (also known as the G7) was introduced in 2007, the jammer continued to impress. LI’s […]
